Grade 38Mn6 is a carbon steel that offers good properties such as Flexural strength, tensional strength, Compressive strength, Tensile strength, Shear Strength, Yield Strength as well as Elongation. Amongst carbon steel grades, EN 10294-1 Grade 38Mn6 demonstrates superior tensile strength properties. Carbon Steel products such as Grade C22 are referred to as mild steel materials. The preference of EN 10294-1 Grade C22 Carbon Steel Seamless Hollow Bars amongst several buyers is because of its low-cost. Grade C22 components are easy to form and shape, due to their chemistry. The max carbon content in the EN 10294-1 Grade C22 Hollow Bar is about 0.20 %, with an addition of about 0.50 - 140 % manganese.

Medium Carbon steel alloy, grade C35 is amongst one of the most extensively used grades for machinery parts. Along with excellent forgeability, Special variations of the  EN 10294-1 Grade C35 Hollow Pipe could be produced for cold drawing. While the weldability of these products are good, the content of carbon is the reason why grade C35 steels require both a preheating as well as a post heating treatments during welding. Carbon Steel alloy grade C40 is a very popular medium carbon and medium tensile material. In comparison to mild steel grades, the EN 10294-1 Grade C40 Hollow Tube sees a noticeable improvement in its strength. The improvement in its strength is by hardening this medium carbon steel grade C40. Its machining properties are consistent with the use of heat treatment which in turn yields a  homogenous metallurgical structure. Similar to grade C40, grade C45 steel is a medium carbon steel that exhibits modest tensile strength properties. The material used to manufacture EN 10294-1 Grade C45 Hot Rolled Hollow Bar can be manoeuvred with hardening. A hardened steel can be achieved by the performance of operations like quenching and tempering, where a hardness level of HRC 55 can be instigated. Another medium carbon steel alloy with great tensile strength properties is C60. Although EN 10294-1 Grade C60 could be thoroughly hardened via quenching and tempering on confined segments, it is ordinarily supplied by many manufacturers in an untreated or normalised condition.
