ASTM A512 Grade 1026 Carbon Steel Pipe supplier


Besides containing carbon as their specific element, carbon steel grade AISI 1026 contains a significant content of both silicon and manganese. To be exact, the NOM B-203 Grade 1026 mechanical pipes contains about 0.4% silicon and 1.2% manganese. There are several specifications covered by carbon steel grade SAE 1026 Tubing including ASTM A29, ASTM A510, ASTM A512 as well as ASTM A513. The ASTM A29 Grade 1026 Boiler Pipes envelop both cold-finished and hot-rolled components. Under ASTM A29, the pipes are required to be subjected to both Heat and product analysis along with grain size and mechanical tests.

ASTM A513, on the other hand, covers electric resistance welded or ERW, mechanical tubes in various forms such as square, rectangular, round, or any other custom shaped component. There are six types of ASTM A513 Grade 1026 cold drawn seamless steel tubes covered in this specification, along with the performance of a heat and product analysis, without the presence of any injurious defects. Moreover, this particular AISI 1026 Pipe needs to have a workmanlike finish and if required, they are to be glazed with a layer of rust retarding oil before being shipped. The ASTM A510 Grade 1026 Seamless steel tube is manufactured with a specific limit with regards to the contents of carbon and other elements in its alloy. Whereas, the ASTM A512 Grade 1026 carbon steel pipe produced under specification ASTM A512, accommodates the use of a special melting process to manufacture cold-drawn products like the buttweld carbon steel pipes. The carbon-manganese based AS 1443 Grade K1026 Seamless Tubing is particular in terms of its processing by cold finishing.
